Story
The video-game Zone of the Enders The 2nd RUNNER - Mars is a science-fiction-game set in the year 2174. Mankind has now managed to colonize other planets. The largest population of humans lives now, beside the earth, on Mars. The military organization BAHRAM, however, wants the control over the human colonies and therefore attacks the two planets with its military superiority to suppress them. In the video-game Zone of the Enders The 2nd RUNNER - Mars you slip into the role of Dingo Egret, a miner stationed on Castillo, one of Jupiter's moons. By chance, he encounters the "Orbital Frame" of a robotic-combat-suit called Jehuty, which gives the wearer incredible abilities. With this suit, he gets the chance to avert the threat and save the human worlds from BAHRAM.Gameplay

Destroying enemies earns you experience points and you get new weapons after defeating bosses. The game was developed and published by Japanese video-game-developer Konami. Zone of the Enders The 2nd RUNNER - Mars is a, by Konami produced, remake of the game. The remake was released in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and is now available for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 since September 4, 2018, with improved graphics, 4K resolution and VR support.
