As some of you already have noticed, we were working on a relaunch of the GamesModuls since a few weeks. The relaunch called GamesPortal doesn't only differ in the name but in a lot of functions.

The major improvement is the change of the content-care. In the old modul it was only possible for admins to service the content, but the new portal allows all registered and logged in users to service things like "cheats", "walkthroughs", and so on. To do this you send in your content from the GamesPortal and as soon as an admin has read it, it will be shown in addition for the game. Each user can also rate contents to collect a little of MDPs and influence the order the contents will be shown. Top rated contents brings more MDPs to the owner and will be shown on top while less or bad rated content will be shown at the bottom. Bad rated content brings less MDPs to the owner, but not a negative value.

Each user can always change his rating in real time. It's also possible to change the send in content every time, but in this case it will be read by an admin again before it will be public. All inapposite/incongruous content will be deleted directly.

In addition each user can apply for the game-care (by forum/board or PM to CCJ39). The task is to add new games (at least german and englisch description, e.g. the manufacturer descriptions) and service existing ones with adding links for patches, fix bugs and so on. Each action will be processed by an admin too and brings directly some Bonus-MDP as well as a point-multiplier after some time.
