Reveal Map Cheat

  • go to "My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5" resp. "Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5" and open the config.ini
  • search for "DebugPanel = 0" and change it to "DebugPanel = 1"
  • then run Civ5 and load/start a new game
  • now press ~ on english keyboard resp. ö on german keyboard and click on "reveal all"
  • the full map will now be revealed for you, but it's only an visible/optic effect, the map isn't really fully explored, so after save+load the game isn't revealed any more and units don't know which terrain-type unexplored fields are
