Hello guys. I've just started playing Third Age Total War a mod of Medieval 2 Total War Kingdoms. Your trainer is brilliant with the standard game, but I can't run it on the Third Age mod. Is there a way I can use your trainer in this mod? Thanks a lot for the great trainers you create. Cheers.

if this mod uses the same exe-file as the kingdoms addon and have the same task-windowname, the trainer should be compatible and you can use, if not it won't work

however for the case it's the same and the mod will be started by an additional parameter like the normal kingdoms versions, you can view the installdir of the trainer, open the Medieval2Kingdoms subfolder and have a look on the txt-files in there... I think it will be self-explaning how to add this mod, but ask again, if you've problems with it Zwinkernd

Hi i know this thread is a year old but i was just wondering as to how you managed to get the trainer to work with the mod? cause i looked in the installation folder and all i could find was the txt that shows the command list

Hi i have the same problem as iCheeZx and i don't understand how the txt inside the Medieval 2 Kingdoms could help.

Well no one seem to answer the problems addressed above so I'll tell you guys:D Basically the cheap way I did it was go to my medieval total war directory"SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods" find the Third Age over and rename it to either americas , brithish_isles, crusades, or teutonic(remember to change the default game l folder to another name incase you want to revert back). Than I open the megadev trainer and click medieval 2 kingdoms and click the name I change it to which is one of the four expansion I said. Your third age should launch but so far not every cheat works but better than nothing.

maybe you need to show hidden files on your system, too see all the files in the trainer-install-folder Zwinkernd

then open the files "MT-X Installation\Medieval 2 Kingdoms\Medieval2Kingdoms.txt" and copy the last line to a new one at the end - so the file should look like this

you need to replace the red string with the exact modname, which you probably can see, when viewing the properties of the shortcut for this mod

after saving the file (on Vista/Win7 you may need to open the file with an editor with admin-rights), you can select the ThirdAge entry in the trainer, when selecting "Medieval 2 Kingdoms" as game and view the versions

Well I always had show hidden files and folder on and still didn't see anything beside the command text but thanks for replying.

(I think they are marked as hidden and system by the installer)
