Bemerkung: Wer Civ3PtW nicht besitzt, der muss für dieses Scenario diese Einheiten herunterladen. Da das Scenario außerdem eine enorme Ladezeit hat (auch auf schnellen Rechner noch über eine Stunde), existieren noch 6 Savegames, die in ca. einer Minute geladen werden können.

In this file you will find a description on how to install this scenario, and a description of the changes I made to the standard rules of CIV3 Conquest. You will need the units from CIV3 PTW to play this scenario, if you don't have them.... sorry... (check on CFC, since most of them are there for free download...)
Install:
to install the scenario, unzip to your civ3\conquests\conquests folder, along with the other conquests (Rome, Mesoamerica...). Now copy all the units from the folders CIV3\CIV3PTW\extras\World War II\Art\units and from CIV3\conquests\conquest\WWII in the Pacific to the folder civ3\conquests\conquests\WW2 Aeldrik\Art\Units. the biq file will be in the conquest\conquests folder, along with the other scenarios from Firaxis to start the game, select the option Conquests, and start it as you would with any other. WARNING: Load time is about 1 hour on a 2.4GHZ CPU with 1GB RAM... For a faster start download the saved game on the thread, they are on Emperor level and take about 2 min to start on the same PC.
Please also read at least the part about the new techs and the new buildings.

Rules:
Here are the changes to the standard CIV3 Conquest Rules:
GENERAL SETTINGS: Road Movement increased from 3 to 6 Forest Value in Shields increased from 10 to 20 Golden Age duration set to 0 turns Fortress Defensive Bonus set to 100% (increased from 50) Citizen Value in Shields set to 90 tried to remove Bards... Techs now take a min of 20 turns to research, this means one can research a max. of 16 techs during the game, which is enough for the main players to finish the tech tree, even tough it is all about making the right choice... Germany will need to conquer it's neighboors before beeing able to reach that research speed...
GOVERMENTS: Disabled War weariness due to CIV3 Error handling it with locked Alliances Renamed the Republic and Democracy goverments to Presidential and Parlamentarian Democracy
IMPROVEMENTS AND WONDERS:
Eliminated all polution from buildings, and set many buildings to eliminate polution, in an effort to remove pollution from the game
Added the Following buildings/wonders: ALL: -Movie Theaters, become available with optics, used to reduce war weariness and makes unhappy people content... no need to explain what a movie theater is... To the historics, both allies and Axis made a massive use of propaganda in the movie theaters to keep they population happy during the war... Only For Fascist GOVS: -Forced Labor Camp: The Nazis very quickly realized that instead of just internating the oponents of the systems and the "lower populations" as they called them, It was better to use these people as a free labor force. Forced Labor camps increase the production of the city where they are build, and do not cost any maintenance, however the miserable treatment of the workers leads to a drastic loss of culture in the city (-10) Third Reich: -U-boat Shipyards: The U-boat Shipyards of Germany where huge installations producing one sub after another, this Wonder built in Kiel turns out a sub every 4 turns to represent the massive use the Germans made of this units. Russia: -Transsiberian Railroad North and South, two wonders already built on the eastern cities, bringing in two Russian Infantry Units from Siberia every turn and increasing the output of the cities they are located in. -Ice breakers: can be built by the Russians only in Murmansk, this represents the road by sea to siberia and to Ally reinforcement. This wonder then produces a tank every 2nd turn. France: -African Colonies: built in Casablanca, this wonder represent the reinforcement the French got from their African colonies, it gives them an Infantry unit every 3rd turn. Commonwealth: -Road to India: This wonder is to represent the 3 million Indian soldiers who thought with the british during WW2, it is located in Cairo and produces one British Infantry every 2 turns.
TERRAIN:
Changes to the ressources the terrains can support. no cities on Tundra
UNITS: lots of changes..... Most Important one: There are no Settlers, so don't raze cities too fast!!! New units... see in the game... All units now cost a population point and can enslave, creating workers, meaning a destroyed unit can create a worker, which can be captured to repatriate the soldiers.... Increased the movement rate of ships by 2 points, subs have the blitz ability and are able to sink a regular ship with in a turn. Range of planes increased, bombers can sink ships... Destroyers no longer have the ability to spot subs, Adv destroyer are required for that.
WORKER JOBS: all have been massively slowed down, making it very hard to clear forest or marshes... only clearing polution has been fastened, since this really should not be a problem during WW2...

COMBAT EXPERIENCE: Raised the hitpoint by 2 per level (Elite now has 7 HP)
DIFFICULTY LEVELS: removed the free units the AI gets on harder levels, since I didn't want some nations to get huge armies at the start.
